Heads up; my comp is having trouble loading documents for some reason, so all of my poetry entries will be in my "journal." I'll fix it eventually, and when I do, maybe post a few chapters of the book that these drawings came from.

I am so sorry you guys. I just disappeared for a couple months.
My computer's monitor had decided that it had met its end... and now that I have it, I've been doing nothing but summer work and book editing. Drawing, as it stands right now, is a luxury that my budget of time cannot afford. I still have three books to read and an essay to write, a book to edit, a costume to make, a ceiling tile to paint, and miscellaneous other black holes that suck in my time.
On top of it, there is the drama. Oh, the drama! Why must there be drama? I hate drama...

I met Lady Luck
On a trip downtown;
I was walking really slowly
And staring at the ground.
I looked up and I saw her
Her in her red and golden dress.
There were knives strapped to her thighs,
And tattoos upon her chest.
She smiled at me
And puffed her cigarette,
And she said, "oh, you poor child,
Why are you upset?"
I scoffed and stared away

I step along the luminous floor
